Before applying Pure Essential Oil to the skin, you MUST dilute it with a carrier oil. It's "carrying" the essential oil onto the skin and enhancing its absorption, also to prevent skin irritation. Use about 2 drops of essential oil per teaspoon of carrier oil. This percentage can vary by oil.
Be careful with the dermal limit of Clove, Cinnamon, and Anise.
