Avocado Oil

Botanical name:  Persea gratissima
Cosmetic Grade

Avocado oil is extracted from the fleshy pulp of avocados, rather than the seeds. The extraction process typically involves washing the avocados, removing the pit and skin, and then crushing the pulp into a paste. This paste is heated and blended, a process known as malaxation, to further break it down. Finally, a centrifuge is used to separate the oil from the water and solid materials. This mechanical extraction method is similar to that used for olive oil, but it includes additional steps to ensure the highest quality product.
